Ultimately I want to compete against the best. I have already secured three Age Group World Championships at ITU XC Triathlon and Xterra and along the way won the 2 day Coast to Coast world championships at only 16 years of age - the youngest in the history of the event.
To pursue my dreams of representing New Zealand on the world stage I moved to Tauranga in 2016 and I’m now training with people that have the skills and knowledge to get me onto the world stage.
Craig Kirkwood Coaching runs the overview of my program with a focus on running and cycling while Liz van Welie Aquatics takes care of my swimming development. Collectively we are focused on getting me in the best possible shape to compete with confidence and be able to push my body to its limits.
I’ve had podiums in Asia and World Cup events that now project me onto the world stage. None of this possible without a fantastic group of sponsors who believe in me and have been prepared to invest in a kid from Whakatane.
This year I head to Europe for the first time to pursue World Cup events and measure myself against the best. You can follow me on Facebook and Insta.
